Thank you for your interest in working with the Waegwoltic Club this Summer. We are currently accepting resumes from qualified individuals for the full-time, part-time and casual position(s) listed below.  Please pay close attention to the minimum requirements each position.  All applicants regardless of position should submit a resume, cover letter, and application (where indicated) to the following addresses:

Aquatics
 

Head of Aquatics (2 positions available)
Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our admin team: 

  • National Lifeguard Service Certified (NLS)
  • 18 years of age by December 31st of the year they are hired as a supervisor. 
  • 3 years guarding experience 
  • 1- 2 years proven leadership skills in an aquatics environment  
  • Lifesaving Society Aquatics Supervisor Training certificate is considered an asset but not required

Full-time Seasonal Lifeguard (CLOSED) 
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our aquatics team: 

  • National Lifeguard Service Certified (NLS)
  • 16 years of age 
  • At least 6 months experience lifeguarding 
  • WSI or LSI certified

Swim Instructor (CLOSED)

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our intructor team:

  • 15 years of age 
  • No previous experience is required 
  • WSI or LSI certified

Lifeguard Supervisor (2 positions available)
Qualified supervisors must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our supervisor team: 

  • National Lifeguard Service Certified (NLS)
  • 18 years of age by December 31st of the year they are hired as a supervisor. 
  • 3 years guarding experience 
  • Proven leadership skills in an aquatics environment  
  • Lifesaving Society Aquatics Supervisor Training certificate is considered an asset but not required

Summer Camp/Recreation - The application for summer camp positions has now closed. 

Full-time Senior Camp Counsellor (CLOSED) 
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our summer camp team: 

  • 18 years of age by December 31st 2022
  • At least 2 years working with children in a camp or childcare setting 
  • Proven leadership skills in a childcare environment  

Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to katelyn@waegwoltic.ca by February 20th at 5pm. No application is required to apply. 

Full-time Camp Counsellor (CLOSED) 
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our summer camp team: 

  • 16 years of age by December 31st of 2022
  • At least 1 year experience working with children in a camp or childcare setting 

Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to katelyn@waegwoltic.ca by February 20th at 5pm. No application is required to apply. 

Part-time Camp Support (CLOSED) 
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a position on our summer camp team: 

  • 16 years of age by December 31st of 2022
  • No previous work experience is required as this is an entry level position. 
  • Swim Monitors must have Bronze Cross or NLS
